Overview
Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is the name given to a
physical resonance phenomenon involving the observation of
specific quantum mechanical magnetic properties of an atomic
nucleus in the presence of an applied, external magnetic field.
Sample Cooler
The Millrock NMR90 sample cooler provides sample
temperature cooling for NMR applications. This
mechanically-refrigerated system maintains a constant
temperature of a supplied gas stream to -90°C. When dry air
or dry gas (Nitrogen) passes through the NMR90, it is cooled
by the mechanical refrigeration system. The flexible delivery
line allows positioning of the air stream for proper temperature
control of the sample. The delivery line is non-magnetic, for
use with any NMR magnet.
